i remember when this game released. people used voice and was serious about teamwork, now it's just another casual console shit stain that makes no sense. jumped on to post scriptum instead, it had a better community, but the game was a broken mess so now i'm left with nothing but older games, AGAIN

No way. At -worst- you'll have a Squad Leader who thinks he knows what and where you should be 24/7 and thinks it's his right to control you like an NPC in a tactical game. Everybody in a server like that knows it takes more than 1 squad to win or lose a game. Unless you crash a transport truck loaded up with 10+ dudes at the start of the match so we all have to walk to the objective and massively set back the whole team, I genuinely can't see people getting too mad at you.

That said: If you play SL or Commander and fuck up on that kind of server then yes, people will sperg at you. But tbqh that's deserved because players who take on those roles should know wtf they're doing.

A lot of people use voice chat from my experience. You should play squad leader more and then it's too much voice chat.
That is actually why there are low level kicks, to prevent all your complaints.
25+ is a decent sweet spot, when squad leaders at least know they have to build outposts and garrisons. It's just the basics but that's all you really need to do to keep spawn points going.

This is true. But the old devs dropped it and Team17 cawadootified the game and a LOT of players just left. Sure, there are still some decent players left but things really took a turn for the worse with the shitty changes and updates. Pre Team17 HLL was way more interesting.

Squad44 is the better game but is mostly dead, Red Orchestra/Rising Storm is the supremely better game and is completely dead.

The game is infested with cheaters, by which I mean, one player with "spy" for the other team by joining the enemy team and revealing all the map information. All it takes is two players to take out 20 minutes of garrisons in minutes.

Got it for free on timmy store, played for 2 hours and never thought about it again. Mainly because of the reasons you stated.

Maps are way too fucking big for just ~two platoons per side to be populating it. Most of the map is empty and you can just walk around every objective lol

Based nigger. RO2 actually feels more authentic than this type of HLL/Squad/Sq44 games because of narrower maps+respawn waves simulate a more realistic number of soldiers fighting over the objective
