Video Games is an outdated term they should be called Interactive Experiences instead
You wouldn’t call a novel a '"word toy". Why do we still call them video games?

That's dumb. Monopoly is an Interactive Experience, and So is Sonic the Hedgehog. The difference is that Monopoly is a game that takes place on a board, and Sonic is a game that needs to be projected onto electronic media.
