Pearls before swine, go and play any "hardcore" shooter and it's full of retards who want to remove any of the hardcore elements or simply don't use them.

Something like ground branch or ready or not are perfect examples, everyone wants fifty different AR15 clones and boonie hat camo patterns so they can jerk off over it despite never joining the marine corps or whatever in real life, nobody is asking for better features or some change that aids team work in some way, if you've been on the discords for these games when they're under development you see nearly 100% of feedback isn't gameplay or bug fix related, it's just weapon and gear queer brand suggestions.

You almost get saved with larger scale stuff like arma, but arma includes a stamina system from off the shelf, you carry too much bullshit and run around like an asshole your guy will be exhausted. What's the first thing everyone turns off on their arma server? Stamina so you can carry your custom loadout of 400kg supply of hand grenades and sprint everywhere with infinite stamina while wearing a wacky santa costume during battle. Closest you could've gotten was squad, but they fucked everything with the infantry combat update a long time ago.

Tactical shooters used to be for discerning people with brains now it's a pastiche genre for posers who wouldn't know a good shooter if it bit them on the ass.

Ghost recon is more or less the same pc/console up until the graw titles which were significantly different on console. Graw 1 was a third person shooter on console for example but first person on pc. Can recommend up until graw 2, anything after that I haven't played.
