Anon... it's ranked by revenue earned. Of course a steam deck would be higher if it cost $400 to buy. It's more on the principle of people who complained about Borderlands 4's pricing and the disaster that was the previous Battlefield saying they won't buy the next game and yet somehow, they are top sellers despite those complaints. It's pointing out how people have a short attention span for drama and still buy the games they complain about or, the more realistic perspective, normies far outweigh the number of dedicated gamers and aren't terminally online like people think they are. This is why people who were surprised by Switch 2's success couldn't see it coming because they were in their echo chamber of Nintendo hate videos. Reality is much different from what youtubers report it as until they can't lie their way out of it. This is like how people reported on people mass disliking on the new Call of Duty trailer but we know that people are still going to buy it anyway in the same or maybe higher amount of players as before.
