I made it to the 4th loop of Contra. I 1CC'd Contra 3 on both Normal and Hard. I could finish the 1st loop of Ghosts N Goblins but not the second. I was super good at Ninja Gaiden thanks to being committed to a residential treatment facility for a few months where it and super dodgeball were the only games they had. I could finish Ninja Gaiden in under 15 minutes. Some of the staff would watch me play but none of the other patients gave a shit

To be fair these aren't exactly hard to no miss. GnG is the only remotely hard one. I remember the contra games being full of safe zones you can stand in.
