I never liked boss rush type scenarios to begin with so Godmaster held minimal appeal except for trying out some new bosses. It's not like they give you any new items for beating it either so there's no reward to tempt me. Radiance is gonna be a pain though, I remember it took me like 6 tries to beat NKG and that was when I was still fresh in terms of mastering the controls but it's been 5 years since I last picked up Hollow Knight and before R you still need to beat HK so it's probably gonna take me at least 3 times as many tries to beat it.

Boss rushes are fine when the bosses are given new tricks (Like the true arena's from kirby) or are very very short (Pizza tower finale), Hollow knight has nearly 50 bosses and some of those fuckers are hard

It's been like 5 years since I last played Hollow Knight.
Do you think I'll enjoy Silksong more or less if I replay Hollow Knight and familiarize myself with its physics and stuff before playing Silksong? Or if I just fully embrace the fish out of water thing of having completely forgotten how to play Hollow Knight?

Granted that Hornet appears to move pretty differently from Hollow Knight's knight. But some base physics and momentum appears to be kind of consistent. Like the feedback after striking enemies and whatnot.
