Steam Dumpster Diving
Forget hidden gem threads, /v/.
This lists Steam games with literally ZERO reviews.

https://www.gameswithnoreviews.com/

I fucking dare you to find a single good game in there that you would be willing to actually pay for.
Protip: you can't.

Your thread is too narrow. I can recommend some recently released games with 20ish views that I was keeping an eye on cuz zelda likes are rare (well, good ones)

you need a lot of money for a shilling campaign or get lucky with the Algorithm/some streamers/youtubers, otherwise your game will be dead before it was born

Isn't there a one time fee of 900 bucks to publish something? That's 16 million steam rakes in without doing anything.

I own around 50+ games that have no reviews or had no reviews before I left one
There are actually some pretty good ones and they expose that the number of Steam users (who are actual humans) and just world population is highly falsified, because it is not possible that I'm the only person out of alleged hundreds millions who would leave a review to a decent cheap game
If you have hundreds millions users you will also have a large amount of "dumpster diver" as you say collectors that review everything, but you dont

>millions of people live in this city but they are going to regularly frequented and trusted food establishments instead of taking the time to sift through garbage in dumpsters for passable food. Clearly the census is wrong.

also has anyone tried https://store.steampowered.com/app/2122470/Grumpy_Gumphrey_Supersleuth_CPCSpectrum/
Its just a port but it looks passable for a 1985 game. I tried the version uploaded on Internet Archive and got stumped fast

You're correct! Dumpster diving irl is free, whereas sifting through the free garbage on steam costs 5-10 bucks a game. An even stronger reason why the "hundreds millions users" would stick to just playing TF2 or CS2 or Helldivers instead of wasting $14 on a shitty mobile port
