Yeah but it's of one of the most boring JRPGs in existence so that's still not really impressive.

A lot of Sky's "boring" elements are mitigated in the remake.
>Field attacks are a thing so traversal in general and dungeon crawling are more exciting
>Fast travel is in to avoid FC's infamous backtracking
>Missables are highlighted so you don't have to randomly scour the map after every cutscene for books or recipes

The boring part of Sky is the story. There's no skipping that. The characters get more fleshed out in SC(to an extent) but in FC the character are all dull, one note cardboard cutouts with no personality or chemistry.

It's still part of a boring series I lost interest in a long time ago.

I like SC but I don't consider it worth going through the slog that is FC. I think FC is the worst first game of an arc in the series and SC isn't THAT good either.
