Unironically no. For whatever reason the chinese don't experience fatigue over the same thing repeating itself.
Just look at their literature. Cultural landmarks like Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Journey to the West repeat themselves to a psychotic degree, they could be 1/10th the length without missing any story beats. And then you have modern cultivation novels with no joke 1000 chapters of exactly the same theme over and over.
Idk what causes this but I can see why sweatshops took off so much.
