Nah, Eowyn proved herself on the field, she also wasn't a butch dyke with perpetual angry face and nothing but derision for men and a chip on her shoulder to prove Girls Get It Done. This exchange has always felt too much on the nose to me. It isn't even the first time he says that no man can kill him. Was it exactly like this in the books? A slightly more subtle approach would've been better imo, like somebody else witnessing this fight and saying 'huh I guess she is not man'. Or maybe she recalls this fight to gendalf or whatever and he smiles and tells her that she's no man or some dumb shit like that. I dunno it just felt out of place you know what I mean.
