This actually got me thinking, what's less relevant in 2025, Castlevania or Metroid?

In terms of games, Castlevania, since there hasn't been a new one in years, while Metroid now has Dread and soon Prime 4. In terms of other things, Metroid, since Castlevania has been in other people's games like DBD and Dead Cells, along with having a Netfilex series (it's not good, but still counts as something for normies to keep the series on the brain).

That'll only happen if metroid goes back to having a focus on exploration. The 2D games are a lost cause under Sakamoto, Prime has a chance with 4.

Metroid sucks, that's why everyone copies Castlevania instead
