I installed bazzite. As far as i heard its a retardproof gayman distro, so it has all the shit like wine and whatnot in it preinstalled.
Do i have to setup and launch every single old game and windows-only program i have through lutris, or can i configure it to somehow just open directly when i click the .exe without any external launchers?

Lutris is just a front-end for Wine (and not the only one btw). You can configure Linux to launch .exe files in Wine on double-click but then you'll probably have to install nice things like DXVK etc. yourself instead of Lutris doing that for you. It may also be possible to configure Lutris itself as the default program for running .exe files on double-click.
But instead of your goal being to double-click the executable directly, maybe you should consider using menu/desktop shortcuts that launch the games through Lutris (or whatever) much like a Steam game desktop shortcut can run a game through Steam as the Steam client runs in the background. I don't use Lutris myself but it can make shortcuts for you if it's not garbage. Bottles can make shortcuts, and Bottles itself runs entirely in the background when these shortcuts are clicked, so you don't even have to see the launcher open.

Ehh yes/no.
You can force any Linux distro to immediately drop any exe you click on into a Wine Prefix (think of it like a virtual machine even if it isn't) and run it. There are downsides, of course. Since you don't know which requirements every .exe has, you'll quickly run into the problem of seemingly nothing working for the same reason you can't drop .exes into windows, double click them, and have them work without having to install every dot net and C++ runtime in existence. Lutris is great because it somewhat automates that process and makes it, while more of a grind, still gives a better chance at things 'just werking'.

Honestly i just dont like the idea of using a launcher manually to set up stuff and want more or less seamless experience.
If i could make it so i open an .exe, and lutris or any of those alternatives at least try to recognize it and download appropriate required shit automatically without me needing to handhold it anywhere - thats more than enough for me.

Still, thanks.

If you don't know how to use Linux then you shouldn't be installing a Linux distro that doesn't even come with a browser. This hypothetical scenario you've imagined boils down to a skill issue, like most things do. Yes, choosing the wrong distro is a skill issue. The entire knowledge of humanity at your fingertips, and even LLMs to summarize it for you now, and you still choose wrong? Get good.

Even my Windows PC is being run in a Debian VM, because of the roadblocks that Microsoft intentionally puts in your way, it's like using a product that's been exclusively designed by inept DE designers on Linux, I'm constantly imagining someone telling me shit like:
>Usecase for ext4?
>Why would you want your taskbar oriented anywhere other than the bottom?
>It looks just like Mac now, don't you like Mac?
>You want to natively assign different keys and buttons to different input devices without some hotkey program? Blocked, this git is for serious business only.
>>718841172
You either learned how to do this while installing the OS, or a browser was automatically installed.

SteamOS is just Arch with guardrails, aka an experience you could probably get with archinstall and reading the installation guide/post-installation recommendations and the Arch news.
>>718841372
Bazzite is a meme distro that is being pushed by the dual forces of Red Hat and people laughing at le ebin Concord reference. Arch genuinely has a lot of helpful documentation on the wiki and you don't need to translate any of it to a new distro's commands if you just use Arch.
Lutris is specifically a launcher, so just get a WINE prefix manager that isn't also a launcher or do all of that yourself with just wine.
