Because Koei Tecmo are cowardly ESG cocksuckers, they simply don't release Dead or Alive games in the west any more. A few journo hit pieces was all it took for them to just tell their whole western base to fuck off. The same company that formerly made Marie Rose just to mock moralfags in Sweden. They sabotaged the Ciel/Ar Nosurge rereleases as well in the same way (locking them to Japan-only even though Ar Nosurge ALREADY HAD a translation available, and of course just stubbornly refusing to translate Ciel Nosurge) so you can expect they'll do this for any game with substantial fanservice. Look at the absolute state of modern GUST for a good example of Koei Kekmo's new stance on fanservice. Just pirate it, KT doesn't deserve a dime, they deserve to go under.

For fuck's sake, Prism is heavily neutered compared to previous DoA games and even axed the "problematic" character (Marie Rose), and they STILL act like they can't release it in the west.
