I like it, but I also think that Odyssey was better overall

I agree with the first part, but not the second. It is definitely not the worst one. I do like the open world quite a bit, including all of the collectibles and such, but I absolutely see why others wouldn't like it, since it's such a big departure from usual gameplay. Intermission tracks do suck, however. They are be fun with friends (but then again watching paint dry is fun with friends too), but definitely shit with randos online. The addition of random mucks to the roster is also a double edged sword. I like the idea, but we are also missing a lot of good picks because of it like kamek himself, the koopalings, the queen bee, and whatnot, which just makes you resent the random mucks a bit. Overall, I do like it, but I can see why others wouldn't. It's a hit or miss. And 8 Deluxe was definitely better
