The books are far superior to the games. I've only played the first game and got stuck at the part where you have to get rid of the fish men. Also super buggy game.

Yeah ok...
Would you actually want to be a REAL woman if you could though?
Is it really worth it to have monthly period pains, inferior INT and inferior STR just for a CHA boost?
Lol.

I unironically did this a few years ago and had tons of fun.
One of the best experiences as a reader and also as a gamer

Geralt has amnesia in the first and second games regardless. Unfortunately the serialised books are not very good and quite a slog, but the two short story compilations are good and will get you up to speed on the setting, who the major characters are and so forth.

>read the books in the early 00s
>Ciri was a nice kid but grew up to be an annoying slut
>pretty much everything involving grown-up Ciri and her gang was an absolute trash that you unintentionally start speed-reading
>fast forward 10-20 years, retards that haven't read the books think Ciri is the best character ever
A feeling so complicated.
Sapjopski can't write for shit, so do yourself a favor and only read the first book if you must. It's a collection of short stories, and it only gets worse from there.
