As someone who has played pretty much all of the kirby games, I fucking hate how autistic the fans are about the lore. They always massively fucking overstate how powerful kirby is, and the game's aren't dark at all.

Mostly about how the power of friendship, good will and love will be able to topple demons, defeat evil gods, and save the day. And how kirby and demonbane are basically the incarnations of those concepts.
It's mostly hyperbolic, and applies to all of kirby (and a bunch of media), but i had a good laugh when i noticed the parallelisms.
