>Games that bring the worst out of a man?
Tl;dr
>LOL (or MOBA in general)
>online team-based shooters especially with voice chat
>MMO raids
>souls-likes
Competitive games like LOL or online shooters with voice chats, especially, or raids in MMOs that requires coordination, skill, teamwork and overall knowledge of the game as a whole (knowing all of the characters and items and maps in LOL, for example, or knowing your team and their abilities and roles in MMO raids). When teamwork doesn't happen due to lack of communication or the players are unfamiliar with eachother or noobs, they just crack and go after eachother like snakes and the slures come out; at worst. At best, you sit in half sadness half rage alone in your room, after another loss, and self-deprecate. I knew a guy who would yell and punch the wall in rage everytime he lost in LOL and broke his knuckles eventually (he said to me punching the wall makes his hands stronger until he broke them, lol). Some games have better communities then others, though, and won't bring out the worst in you, for example, Awesomenauts; which has a more casual fanbase and doesn't have as much a toxic fandom as LOL or WOW oldfags that expect you to know everything and anything on the get go. That's why I couldn't get into LOL btw, too big a learning curve and a vile fanbase.
Also games that are easy to die in and is busywork to get back to where you were before you died, like souls-likes, have heavy consequences on ones psyche, when getting pummled over and over and over again, and can cause people to break their keyboards. Souls-likes are just busywork upon busywork to reach every minute milestone. I dislike souls-like games as a rule; they makes me rage and seeth like an autistic sperg.
