be careful anon. i know you can't do much to protect him once he leaves your property to go do cat things, but my dad has lost several outdoor cats to various things (cars, infections after fights, etc.)

Dude's already around ten years old, and he's a massive coward. He sprints away from anything or anyone that isn't me or my direct family. >>718854298
We give him a little spray on the back of his neck every few months that disinfects his fur or whatever. He's fine.

this all depends on where you live
i had a hybrid cat (if that's a thing)
she never had any problems
my aunt had 2 cats who did cat things outside, they lived long and healthy lives just fine

Oh yeah that's another good point. Cats are constantly cleaning themselves.
Also we don't have any tall grass here, so he won't be jumped by bug pokemon.
It was winter and I visited a part of town that I never went to before. It was already snowing and I've seen a cat walking outside on a leash held by an old lady. I stared at the cat in disbelief before looking directly at the lady and she has already noticed the confusion on my face.
I never went there again.

Alright, here's him being a messy fucking eater.
Eating is actually one of the few things he's good at, since he knows when to stop unlike most cats.
