The absolutely minimalistic gameplay is what makes Yume Nikki & the fan games work. It lets you focus on the details of the environment and the atmosphere. I can't imagine seeing the gameplay being "easy" as a fault, and I don't see anything similar between Yume Nikki and Noita

nobody really likes or cares about september, it's just the month where we're waiting around for october to come and we can start having some real fun. silent hill 3 and left 4 dead 2 are the only games that come to mind that give off that kind of lazy late summer vibe. resident evil 2 and 3 get a mention for actually taking place in september.
