depends, the big catch all subreddits like r/videogames or r/gaming can have normal discussion. Once you get to a games dedicated subreddit it's a 50/50 whether it's normal or if it's a big echo chamber where you can't have any opinions that differ from the hive mind. For example the KCD subreddit is usually pretty chill but the Battlefield and BF6 subreddits are just insufferable right now because of the new game releasing
