You don't need the highest rank every time. Forego that bullshit and turn the game into a sandbox. For me, I play for the atmosphere. I love just walking around, listening to conversations, being next to the targets, blending in with the disguise amongst the other NPCs.

I get frustrated by all the scripted conversations that you hear over and over, especially since a lot of routes just depend on waiting for the NPCs to shut the fuck and move somewhere else before you can keep going

I finished Hitman 3 yesterday, good shit I guess, but Mendoza felt kind eh as a final level. It was okay. I really didn't like how fucking long Vidal's loop is, so much waiting for her
Carpathian Mountains was surprise kino though, really reminded me of that Pandora Tomorrow train level which was also based. I'm surprised to see that a lot of people don't tend to like it, it's like they've been brainfucked into thinking every mission needs dozens of ways to complete it
The final two cars before you reach the constant were a bit awkward admittedly, and the unskippable cutscene at the beginning was awful

Colorado isn't really that since you just grab a disguise and have access to most of the map
The thing about Colorado is that it's just not very interesting, even if you're going for SASO, you'd think it'd be hard (and it is) but you just end up camping out in the basement and killing 3/4 targets in there (and you drop the hay bale on the pajeet)

Sometimes it makes sense, other times it's schizophrenic.
In the chinatown level the whole point is that it's a market where random people can set up stalls. Simply being dressed as a chef makes all other chefs report you to the police even if you're just walking around the town.
You also had stuff like the SWAT uniforms with body and head all fully covered, yet other SWAT guys instantly see through it.

Then on the other hand, you have dumb stuff like 47 disguising himself as a specific wrestler and NOBODY sees through it even though it's one specific guy and not just a general uniform.

The reason SA/SO was put in is solely due to retards who are autistic and wanted it in. Defs literally just put in one 'good/easy' path for SO and called it a day. Compare to SA normally where you have a variety of methods.

There's mods to restore the 2016 movement, separated camera systems, and to improve the NPCs somewhat, but none for the panties and another big one, suspicious items. In Hitman 2016 you couldn't carry a large number of items around openly unless you had the right disguise, but now it's limited to only guns.

I hate how they nerfed Professional from 2016 to make nuProfessional and you can't play Master with the old AI (which is still slightly nerfed) on like half of the levels because they also decided to guard spam on Master for the 2016 and half of the 2 levels to fuck over speed runners. Their solution. Just enforce Professional with its blind and deaf AI on everything else to tell you that's what you're supposed to play at.

And it's really Suit-only autists fault. Imagine actually WANTING to play this game ignoring the actually fun gimmick that makes it special, using the exact same garbage line-of-sight stealth from Aboslution that everyone complained about. Oh wait you don't have to imagine because like 75% of the Escalations enforce it.

just utter nonsense to complain about this. it's like saying your phone is "always electric". if you dont have a modern internet, modern games aren't for you.
>time gated content
ETs are some of the most weirdly over-focused pieces of content in these games. They are basically the equivalent of playing contracts. The gameplay is not the focus, it's just the "log into our game to give us your MAU +1". Only in few cases they have special gameplay associated, like the Le Chifre ET recently, and those always make it back to the game via ET arcade which is always there.

I feel like when they started out, there was no overarching story and they just followed the rule of cool. Here's a cool location, a mission to kill some people, that's it.
Then they had to tie them altogether to give it a connected storyline and II and III continued it, planned with it from the start, even though they still tried the globetrotting thing, but it feels more forced than in I.

It had a lot of different ideas that were in conflict with each other:
>for the first time ever, 47 can non-lethally subdue anyone he wants without using a resource like sedative syringes or a very specific scripted knockout. You are punished in score for doing this, ever.
>You have a meter for being able to use your disguise among other people that use the same disguise, and ALL NPCs of the disguise you're using will know you
>This basically means that the game is entirely about crouch-walking everywhere and not interacting with NPCs as much as possible, completely defeating the point of a fucking Hitman game
>to add insult to injury, the basic line-of-sight stealth the game does use is just complete garbage. Enemies can't see a man in a conspicuous tuxedo crouch walking 20 feet away from them, even though they can spot you through your disguises automatically. Gluing yourself to a wall makes you invisible even when the enemy animation shows them walking over to the chest-high wall you're glued to and looking directly over it

WoA has all these same issues with its line of sight stealth except for the rework of the enforcer system and knocking enemies out no longer counting against your score.

Let me think, it's been a while. For the Delgado mansion I usually use the hole by the front door, then hug the right side wall until I reach the staircase that leads down to security's break room and up to the second floor balcony. There's a maid by the balcony but she should be looking at the railing and a butler inside the bedroom, knock them out and then use coin lures to clear the way to Rico's office. There should be just one guy inside, I'm not sure on if he gets found if you hide him inside the bathroom behind the office, same with Rico, so it may be safer to take them to the previously cleared bedroom. Then back to ground level and go for the plantation tunnel. There's probably a much more efficient path using the mines but I don't go there much

There are a bunch of things I disliked about SA in Blood Money. Being caught in illegal areas and getting shot at is fine as long as you're in your suit, because it doesn't count as blowing a disguise if you aren't in disguise. You also have "accidents = free kills" so you can get spotted and just knock the witness out, then chuck them over a rail.

Also, in general I just dislike the notion of

and still getting SA. SA should pretty much mean being a ghost.

Most of the targets are criminals in some form or the other. Off the top of my head
Paris - spies selling stolen info
Sapienza - Francesca I think is at least neutral. She's not really doing anything worse than the engineers at weapon manufacturers. Silvio at least killed his mom.
Marrakesh - fraud/coup
Bangkok - Cross is a murderer. Ken is "only" an asshole lawyer, but I think there were strong implications that they do illegal things to get their case wins.
Colorado - terrorists, even Graves
Hokkaido - yakuza
Hawke's Bay - terrorist
Miami - weapon dealers
Colombia - drug dealers
Mumbai - terrorists
Whittleton - Cassidy I don't think has anything other than working for Providence. He did break into that one house to use their attic.
Ambrose - terrorists
Sgail - killing a bunch of natives
New York - fraud or whatever the deal was with that report they were looking for
Haven - nothing really. just collateral damage in the way to get to the partners
Dubai - partners
Dartmoor - partner
Berlin - assassins
Chongching - working for assassins
Mendoza - Yates did illegal stuff, but I dont know what Vidal did beyond working for providence.
Carpathians - constant

WoA has an annoying habit of moralizing your kills against all targets that I can't think of any game except maybe H2:SA having. Granted, yeah, the targets were all morally dubious in some way but there wasn't this "just make sure you remember how much GOOD you're doing by doing this, 47" attitude, just more of assassination being something that would likely happen to people in the criminal/terrorist underworld or otherwise.

It is if you aren't gaming the system, but I still like it better than WoA's system which is also very gameable but doesn't account for leaving evidence in any capacity at all.

It's annoying when you can tell the really lefty shit leaks in. One of the Elusive Targets was a guy who's kinda lazy when doing inspections so you gotta kill him so his lack of care doesn't lead to more deaths. But they also make sure to let you know how much LANDLORDS love him and that the LANDLORD association bankrolled his legal defense.

Also, just to make sure you REALLY hate him they constantly make him reference this old TV show he likes, which is a "bit un-PC" and he notes that he thinks the main female character is attractive, but also that he thinks she has great comedic timing. Only some really lefty guy could actually seethe at that specific line, for everyone else he just likes older humor (most normal people do, before Obamunism ruined everything) and that he has the audacity to think that a woman is both funny and attractive!

By the time H2 rolled out the big thing was literally 'grass and a suitcase'

I think the biggest problem with 2 (and to an extent 3) is they just had no idea what the fuck made Hitman work anymore. Like originally it was 'we consider the design and how a player might navigate it so we don't want to have say, a room with 8 rooms where 5 are useless but we don't have to only have one room with everything useful in there'

In Hitman 2 the only level I think that was done well was New York bank. Everything else seems to have some massive obvious gaping flaws. Sgail or whatever the fuck it is considered 'good' but when you look at it objectively, it's pretty basic black bitch in the two targets having very specific paths that you can kill them on. While you can argue that the same could be said for New York, at least you can get the fucking bitch to move from her office.
