MG1 and 2 are the only games that deserve remakes, because they'd essentially be complete re-imaginings.
MGS5 needs a Director's Cut with the original vision of the game executed. But that's never going to happen.

Same with MSGV a really good game with amazing gameplay but the whole fucking resources bullshit and timers fucking killed it. I don't know why they wouldn't iterate over Peace Walker design but oh well

You can thank Jewnami for butchering the entire MGSV project. The whole thing with splitting the game into two was all thanks to the boomer corpos demanding a "proof of concept" for the game, and even after it sold like hotcaks, they only gave Kojima a few months to "finish" the rest. Which obviously didn't work out.

Tons of stuff the devs DEMONSTRATED at the E3 and such are simply gone. Data mining has already unearthed proofs of co-op having been a planned feature since day 1. You can even play V in coops now through mods thanks to that fact.

I don't doubt it at all, especially with the constantly friction between Konami and Kojima. But what I wouldn't do to get a fully finished version of MSGV, that game was set to be one of the best games ever made. Although I'm really looking forward to whatever thing Kojima is working on next. Since he announced a game like MSG coming from their own studio
