You guys are joking right? It's charming sure, but it doesn't belong anywhere the near the top of "best Zeldas", or even "best 2D Zeldas". Obtuse puzzles and the most tedious item limit in the series combine for a game that gets worse the longer it goes on, although I'm sure the Switch version probably mitigates those specific flaws this game was topping best-of lists well before it came out.

So some faggy streamer got filtered by this and now their simps are denouncing it?

Yeah I mean I liked it but anyone who says it's better than LttP must have nostalgia speaking for them because I just don't get it. This is coming from someone who beat them both for the first time this year.

No, just played it for myself for the first time. To be clear it is good, I did enjoy myself, but the list of Zeldas I would outright say it's better than would be a pretty short one. It's pretty confusing that this is widely considered one of the best, often outranking games like LttP.

It was my first zelda game. I can't scrub that fact out of my lists. I also happen to like it a lot.

It's the only one that uses the world map and dungeon maps the best with very little filler

It's far superior to LttP and tied with Seasons as the best 2d one

It's the best 2D Zelda.
It absolutely BTFO of the worst one: LTTP.

There is not a single 3D Zelda I like as much as the 2D Zeldas.

I can think of like 1, which was the Bottle Grotto kill the enemies in the correct order and that wasn't even that hard if you either knew the enemy names or if you just eliminate the possible outcomes. You know what to do by talking to the owl/slab.

It's not even the best Gameboy Zelda, both Oracles improve on everything awakening does
I also don't get why everyone act so emotional about this game, I really don't get the attachment to koholint, I keep seeing people acting like it's super sad that you end the dream and I really don't get it, you get like a single line of the owl saying about how awaking the whale will make koholint disappear but that's it, it doesn't even feel like some heavy decision

The Oracle games are annoying to me in a way that LA is not. Just navigating the worlds in those games and the animal buddies and Subrosia is just no thanks. They're still good games but I vastly prefer LA.

You don't understand what's sad about every character you met on your journey dying/ceasing to exist? It's the most bitter ending to any Zelda game, even Majora's Mask had an uplifting ending.

The music and graphics are timeless.
Mechanically it’s weaker than Awakening and Oracles, but Oracles has fat ugly dungeon design.
