If I'm going to an arcade I want to be playing on real hardware. I don't care if the buttons are aliexpress crap or the cab is some DIY heap of junk or even if the screen is a poorly installed LCD instead of a CRT display.

But the hardware should at least be real.

Oh, they have plenty of real actual games but the Multicade they have there has always been an easy way to pile in a bunch of extra fighters and other games. I completely get it though and I do wish they had a real Third Strike cabinet, but alas, I'm also aware that's kind of a big deal to go and get. I think the reason I was dumbfounded was that they had Street Fighter 1 and a bunch of other shit but 3S was gone. They had a Tekken 3 cabinet back when that was a fucking blast to play on, but it looks like they're mostly putting stock in racers and light gun games due to the novel controls atm.

honestly yeah I'm still really happy I even get to go to an arcade, I've made a ton of memories there and they even recently opened a chill bar and diner way in the back; you could probably spend a whole day just vibing there playing games with the homies and taking a break to get a round of burgers at some point
