I am 26 and have been on three dates. I like to think I'm a bit less delusional than the average gamedev, since I do practice writing and regularly submit to small literature magazines and even have other people willing to work with me, but one of the big challenges I'm facing is maintaining that flow you mentioned while writing a bunch of disconnected lines of dialogue. With short stories I'm aware of exactly what the reader will see next, while the dynamism of games means that next line could be a number of things. Okay, so you need to start setting small goals that will get you out of your comfort zone. Start with a goal of leaving your room once a day. Then work up to twice a day. Then start taking walks at night so you don't run into other people. Then start going during the day ETC. You need to face the fear in the smallest way that feels achievable to YOU. Don't make goals you are too scared to do. It has to be something that feels within reach. Over time you will get less anxiety about these things, and before you know it you will be getting your license. THE KEY IS TO START SMALL AND INCREMENT THE DISCOMFORT OVER TIME.
