Manufacturing is a step up in difficulty after Office which is far too easy. After that it’s not hard until after Security.
Honestly I’d recommend to anyone that they either buff enemy damage or enemy health, even apocalyptic is too easy.
Especially if you use sprint attacks. Shits so fucking busted for far too long.

>you have to get things to craft with in a survival-craft
Please, be more specific with your complaints. Tou just described the whole genre. Like, god forbid you need to get "grind" trees for wood in minecraft. What specifically grinded your gears(heheh)?
The actual requirements to progress are not that much. You need *a* energy brick that you can get from smashing a pc and litter. You need *a* tram key to acces the portal in the mines. You need 3 items to repair the pipes, but you only need 1 of each, and you get each of those by trading blacksmish a single item.
The first time a roadblock need more than 1 of anything specific is halfway through the game to open up the control center in labs(you need 4 of something)

Are (You) playing the same game? Because it doesnt sound like it.

If you go in somewhat prepared, yeah. You're fighting random bumpkins that have axes, pitchforks, and crossbows.

If you aren't prepared though, it's the first place you would often encounter severe bleeding as a constant threat. Add to it their ability to call for reinforcements, carry you with pitchforks, and just generally swarm you. They aren't hard, but even a couple hits from them can make things spiral out of control.

Grounded's combat is a bit harder since you're expected to perfect parry during fights and manage your stamina bar, especially against bosses, and there's a huge difficulty spike once you reach the second half of the game.

In solo, I never made more than a couple farms, but in mp we literally cannot keep food, ammo, syringes, etc. stockpiled at all.

Green Hell is probably my peak of the survival craftan genre.
>Great alone or with friends
>Real survival gameplay in Amazon rainforest, you'll be ingame naming the flora you find that doesn't give you food poisoning when you aren't plucking off leeches or driving off big cat attacks
>Tribal enemies you can harvest and turn into tools and food
>Or prank your friends with human meat soup that immediately drives them insane and hallucinating
>Good basebuilding where you can build a mudhut or integrate a canopy treehouse with a floating water base
>Full story that's conveyed primarily by getting fucked up on Ayahuasca and running around the woods
Try not to get spoiled on the ending requirements since it's one of the coolest endgame minigames I've seen. My only real complaint is that the DLC is very grindy, but it's stilfcl a bit more GH when you're done.

The Forest and Sons of the Forest to a lesser degree are both also pretty good

If it feels like you're endlessly taking care of "chores" it's because you fucked up your base and resource management
When the game starts you should be meticoulously hoarding everything you can get your grubby little scientist hands on, making as much storage as possible, hoarding all water coolers and large filing cabinets you can pick up, and taking cooking seriously by actually making soups instead of wasting time and resources on frying food.
When you don't fuck these things up, the gameplay look is actually perfectly tuned, you go out, loot, explore and progress, then when you're bags are full and your needs are low, you head back to base, store your findings and attend to your needs, I find I can do this between pounding bowls of soup and I get all my needs met before heading back out easily for another big exploration or resource gathering session.
Anyone finding survival to be a chore is not gathering enough resources, building the right set up, setting up enough storage and is being an idiot when it comes to food and water management, it's as simple as that.

Mechanically works like Leyak, where he stalks you and tries to sneak up on you after you enter the residence area.
But he is limited to cold areas and while he stares at you, a bar appears at top of your screen and if he is able to stare at you long enough, you freeze as if you were struck by a slushie bomb.

I had a pretty good time with it. If you're there for the horror and story, you'll probably enjoy yourself as well. The story's initial thrust is a bit weaker than trying to find your missing son, but you do have more real story segments in Sons iirc. The horror may take a knock since you're stronger than the first game with access to real firearms pretty quick, but you'll need them at night to help defend your tard helper and mutant gf who you should be nice to early on when you see her in the wild!!! from mutie raids.

Conan Exiles is also pretty good for that too. But that's mainly because the devs overhauled the loot table so you don't have to spend much time farming/mining resources and can get most of it from just exploring. The only tedious part of the game is capturing NPC allies, but that makes sense since the entire end game revolves around it.

I might check out Enshrouded next since I heard the grind is minimal there too.

If you like base building, enshrouded has you covered there, pretty robust system. The combat is also pretty action oriented with each playstyle heavily built around melee, ranged or magic (skills can be reset relatively easily).

Not a massively grindy game for materials, but your primary source of progression is achieved through acquired npc's with quests/tasks, and those will build up like skyrim.
