Wtf happened between Demon Souls and Dark Souls? It feels like a step backwards playing them both after each other. Worse animations, more sluggish and slow combat, worse hitboxes, and overall less atmospheric. The only "upgrade" is the interconnected map but almost everything else is a downgrade.
