Why are male gamers often viewed negatively and mocked by game developers, influencers, and VTubers, while female gamers are generally perceived positively?

There have already been good female protagonists. However they have been labeled as “problematic” for the exact reason the pic has said. Old Lara Croft, Jill Valentine, Bayonetta, Samus Aran, good protags. But since they apparently represent all women there is an issue with them.
