I don't see how this is a bad thing. I don't think anyone is going 'I liked Starman BEFORE it was cool' like what? And who cares anyways? Cool, the character you like got recognition, how is that a bad thing? Unles you ONLY liked him becauase no one else did- then did you really like him in the first place?
If they put my favorite Kirby characters in the new Air Ride game I'd be happy. Ice Dragon, Paint Roller, Rick, etc. I saw Kine got in as a hazard or background character and that made me happy.
