both were good translations
the original was good because it was plain english which left little room for misinterpretation
the psp version was good because it gave the dialogue a historical air lending to the atmosphere and world building of the story

Everyone called it Playstation out loud and wrote Playstation or PS. It may have been vaguely referred to as PSX in some magazines, but no one actually called it that further into the internet age after the PS2. It's still wrong and still retarded.
