Even fucking dotabuff used to have LoL ads
Meanwhile the only way Valve advertised Dota was through "biggest prizepool" and being a game on Steam.
Also LoL caters to women more with their cute waifu and husbando designs, meanwhile this is the closest character to a "healslut" in Dota, then you also have bald alien looking guy or old guy with a hammer, for example.
