They all got on the internet around the late 2000s and that’s when everything went to shit 100%
I guess internet for cheap became a thing then and that’s when everyone got on social media at the same time as well.

depending on your timezone, it may be off work and off school time for the third world countries. there is also the issue of population where third world countries have huge populations, but also a lot of unemployed people living with their families playing multiplayer games compared to western countries in general.

I've noticed it more than ever.
There's always been a hispanic, brazilian or russian presence on most multiplayer games 15-20 years ago, but they usually always had their own dedicated servers in multiplayer games and almost never really interacted with english speaking/global servers outside of cross server pairing shit.

But now you can't play an online game, MMO, or MMO-adjacent game anymore on an English-speaking server (where English is supposed to be enforced) without running into third worlders who can barely speak english, usually spics, hues and sea asians
