The custom content is integrated (mostly) seamlessly with the rest of the game. Professions (other than engineering lol) are massively buffed and have quests and fun bonuses too. Tailor gets LW style patches for capes that give spell/attack power/stamina for example.
The biggest issue really is all the bugs right now. If the Epoch devs were still trying to raw dog this alone I'd say it was doomed but the Ascension devs seem to actually know what they are doing, it's just taking them a while to fix the mess that was given to them.

it seems impressive until you actually start playing and realize 80% of the content is unchanged. new crafting recipes only go so far until you realize the dungeons are the exact same, leveling is the exact same until you come across a brand new quest to kill 15 epoch bears and endgame is the exact same until they add new content

leveling as alliance on the pvp server past 30 is impossible, horde niggers running in groups of 10 just zerging everything. Lots of people just leveling on bgs to avoid that, doesnt help that some classes are legit not functional like warlock while hunter goes godmode

Turtle wow is absolute shit. Their class changes completely ruin some classes like rogue which changes their pvp spec into a raid support spec or completely buffs the shit out of one class like the paladin where the majority of people are paladins.
I haven't seen the new stuff that just came out but the previous custom content was all bad and looked like something you, yes you behind the screen, could make if you had access to their terrain editing program. Just epochs WC or DM changes are way better then everything on turtle.
Also, just playing on that old ass client is enough to not play turtle. Trying to play a druid feels like you have to have every single one of your skills in a nigger rigged macro depending on your form.

I was very disappointing when I saw DM was pretty much just the same except the made the areas bigger so you have to walk longer. Same with Goldshire; they just make the place bigger for seemingly no reason and didn't add content to fill the areas

Warlock is literally S+ tier in bgs because their fear is broken/has some Wotlk type scaling where I was being hit all the way to 0 without fear ever breaking.
Huntards are strong but that's due to again unchanged wotlk scaling where their pets solo kill badly geared players.
Feral druids are strong because the pvp gear is insanely broken and allows a lvl 29 druid to be a 3k hp tank that still melts your face in cat form. I don't think they will ever fall off really.
Mages are extremely annoying to kill because something on this server is extremely fucked and I often have to literally sit on top of them to be in melee range which isn't possible due to ice armor.

When are any of these useless classic+ devs going to copy one of the good things blizzard has made and add delves

Acension is the best because of manastorm. They literally cracked the code, you need to give casual people a way to experience content and gear up.

Warrior has some buffs to skills and added ones like victory rush (healing bugged and doesn't work) but having that ability alone makes warrior feel way better.

If you are tanking dungeons thunderclap does a fuck load of damage, talent cruelty, rend, and imp tclap. You will probably be near top group damage at lower levels with this and it holds good threat.

Something feels off with rage generation. In sod and classic I could easily tank as arms but when mobs beat on me in battle stance I gain almost no rage, switching to defensive stance gives you a ton more rage generation. Usually it's the total opposite in early vanilla leveling.
