I played battlefront 2 for a couple of hours today mostly as a clanker with a sniper rifle - gameplay is a bit too chaotic for my taste. With there was OFFICIAL squad-like game about clankers vs clowans. Or republic commando 2.

Why DID Anakin try the same fucking move Obi-Wan of all people used? And when the latter did have the obvious advantage of the high ground. Yeah Maul did too but he was arrogant (like all Sith) and didn’t expect his opponent to grab his masters lightsaber and literally fling himself out of the hole.

Star Wars is and has always been soulless Hollywood slop for people too stupid for real sci-fi. Basically for Netflix-watching, popcorn-munching, grease-handed, onion-breath-having bozos.

That's because the stories are good, but suffer because of their execution. The Phantom Edit exists to prove that is the case, and while it doesn't fix all its problems, it improves the experience by making the film more coherent.

In about a decade, AI will be able to bring any Star Wars story to cinema without the need for actors. Be interesting to see the original Expanded Universe come to life.

I always find it funny how many people listen to those idiots when they're directly responsible for the sequels. They LITERALLY said "J.J. Abrams should direct Star Wars" in their stupid prequel review, and that exactly what ended up happening, and they never fucking owned up to it.
It's especially funny, because JJ was basically trying to do what George said he always refused to do, which was simply make the same movie but reskinned.
