Game with a good story is like an interactive book, when it's paired with good gameplay it's extremely satisfying.

Stories in games are kind of important, you need a reason to do the things you do. Otherwise the gameplay becomes quite hollow.

Traditional roguelikes are the purest form of gameplay, alongside arcade games.

They should focus more on gameplay, less on story. Video game stories are like scripts to D-list movies at their best.
