If you're not playing a game and enjoying yourself, whether that means overcoming difficult challenges or just able to enjoy the moment to moment gameplay, what's the point? People like hard games because it means being forced to engage with a game and having to get a hold of the mechanics to win, even if that means failing several times. People like finding ways to make their favorite games more challenging to give themselves a new appreciation for the medium. People do like to brag because the journey means something to them. If you don't like it, that's fine too, but don't cry on a Laotian paypiggy forum. At the end of the day, just enjoy the meaning you get from the experience.
