Kind of. The levels are now in their big state by default and the only changes is placing the collectibles in other places. adding a few new collectible types and giving you a map, but the levels are still big, empty and uninteresting without any good setpieces.

You can still unlock stuff at Vendi at least, though it's shit like tonics and merch. Apparently there are some "game changing" unlockables in there but who knows what that means.

I'm not gonna cry about them removing the level expansion mechanic cause it was a failed attempt to bridge the gap between BK and BT's levels, but the levels were already big and uninteresting by default anyway. But the moves thing is strange, I'll say that.

Subjective disagreements aside, the original game had blurry PS3 textures including the dimension-less grass and horrible hard lighting like the 1st level and basically no lighting like the factory level.

This looks like a decent improvement all around - particles, textures, overall resolution. The Rextro levels look like a whole new different game (because it is) and way sharper. And this doesn't mention the re-designed levels, goals, and so on.

If they let people upgrade for a reasonable price, no one has any reason to bitch. I'd be more open to people complaining about the original considering all the money they raked in off of the Kickstarter.
