>any possible danger is negated by the spring giving you a fourth jump
this adds depth to the control, it doesnt negate all danger, the levels are designed around this mechanic retard.
>one of Galaxy 2’s powerups is literally creating giant platforms under your feet, and the “challenges” are whether you have enough brainpower to not use them all up at once before conventiently being placed right in front of another cloud mushroom
this is literally like 4 levels, and again, the levels are designed around the fact that you have this powerup. it is an interesting mechanic that switches up the gameplay for the brief levels it is used in.
>it literally switched to 2D perspective, which is suuuper difficult giving you just have to jump one mario high or can just walk jump
literally dont even know what you're trying to say here, you clearly have some kind of brain injury
>you get 3-6 hits if you were somehow shitty enough to take damage from something, compared to 1 or 2 in 3D world
game is designed around this, having more hp doesnt automatically make one game better or worse retard. it is just a different design.
>w-who cares if 3D world has better jumping and movement speed!!
it doesnt have better jumping. and faster movement speed doesnt = better gameplay, if it did sonic games would all be better than mario games.
anyway, pretty much your entire argument boils down to 3d world is harder so it is better. which first of all, isnt even true, theyre both about the same difficulty. and secondly, im not playing a mario game for the difficulty, theyre all easy. im playing them because theyre fun. and mario galaxy has so many more interesting mechanics and level design ideas that keep it fun.
