Doesn't soften in motion anymore. Minimal artifacting. Backported to the last 4 gens. Real rendered frames, so decreases input lag as well.

What's the counterargument at this point?

You either dont have a DLSS4 capable graphics card or dont play in 4k. You can force games to use DLSS4 using the nvidia app or DLSS swapper and you wouldnt be able to tell the different 99.99% of the time in gameplay. So long as youre running DLSS4 youll be fine. Its 3 and earlier that are shit. Its one and only flaw is transparent effects such as holograms or grille type materials like chainlink fences or walkways in factories.

DLSS upscaling is insanely good.
It's not perfect, of course, but it's 90% of the way there for the performance you get.
Frame gen is shit, however.

Yeah I've used x2 in a few games and honestly its hard to notice the difference if your base is 60+. I imagine with a 5000 series the x4 is way more noticeable if you aren't on a 5090

Only if you're gpu limited. If you're cpu limited it increases latency, since there is an inherent latency cost to using dlss, so if you dont have a framerate increase it will increase latency

I say again Wuchang: Fallen Feathers requires the use of an upscaling technology in order to run. This game can not be run at native res regardless of what that native res might be.

If you play witcher 3 at 4k with DLSS quality you get legit texture noise and shimmering as the textures are made for a much more aggressively blurring worse performing TAA.
