Didn't make it into A rank because I learned how to do parent farming as it was happening. In just two days I've gotten 9* Medium/6* Late Umas and I'm now winning 4/5 matches in B Rank 2. And with one more Sho win, I'll be able to unlock All-Seeing Eyes on Nice Nature.

Not saying I'm going to win the final. But this event has helped me learn the mechanics of the game.

You find a friend who has 9* in whatever stat you want. Then borrow them and use them on your runs. Until you get a 3* character in the same stat. Now you have a 6* parent. Repeat for a 9*.

The thing is though, you should focus on skill (white) stats first. Then when you have parents with tons of good ones, focus on green and blue stars. Because you want the blue stars to be the final one. But also, you can use a parent with lots of good white sparks on more umas.

Turf looks better but is much harder to maintain and is much easier to do "damage" to if run over alot, horse or person. There is also a difference on the gripping, although thats just a case of getting use to. Wish I knew how rain affected turf.

Dirt can fall apart easily with no maintenance. However, it is very easy to maintain in the US Tracks using some tractors, a water tender, and the proper attached equipment to groom it after each race. And unless the soil is particularly bad, it's easy to set up anywhere. And when it rains, it just means you do the grooming only and no water is used, although the horses will tire out faster from sinking in, but they're already sinking in a little on normal dirt.

The game makes dirt looks bad by making it look dry and dusty. I have no idea if that's how Japs run their dirt tracks.
