Fighting games are the only honest form of PVP left because its just good ol' fashioned competition. Cheating and grinding ranks matters so much less because winning locally is still the only thing that people truly respect, which is how it should be. Multiplayer shooters are pure casinocore now with manipulate matchmaking and game design meant to keep you hooked so you buy microtransactions, they're dishonest competition
