I tried the demo for Hell is Us and the aesthetic and story seemed cool but it gives off the impression that the gameplay will be annoying and tedious. So I'd rather just watch the story on youtube.

I feel like Hell is Us should have had 3rd person shooter combat instead of souls combat. It doesnt gel well with the setting of "not Yugoslavia"

I know a major spoiler for Hell is Us due to friend who has finished it. There is time travel and time loops

Do you think Hell is Us will be one of those games where on your second play through when you know everything that you will be able to go directly to the end goal due to your knowledge and get some sort of secret ending?

Played the demo and like you said the aesthetic and story bits seemed cool, but the level/puzzle design seemed uninspired as fuck. For instance the forest bit was literally a bunch of squiggly hallways with an item at each end, which the developers apparently thought was a good quest or something.

is it wrong that I'm excited for cronos? SH2 remake was excellent.

Hell is us deserves to bomb because the combat is a fucking abortion. Cronos is a casualty of silksong.

I feel like im the opposite of everyone else. I played the demo for hell is us and I thought the combat was fine. It was the puzzles and wandering around and no hand holding that seems like it will be boring in the final game not the combat.

HiU is not very good, combat sucked, and I didn't care for Death Stranding/Control rip off aesthetics. I wanted to like it because it's the studio where Eidos refugees went, but I probably won't buy it now after playing the demo.
