i forgot which game this was, but there was some game that released "poorly optimized" that still succeeded because nobody wanted to hate it.
the amount of people that want this game to simply exist, and their passion is far more overwhelming than the people who could hate it, because the loud passionate types draw in mindless retard normies with hype and osmosis of needing to feel part of the hype.
the types of games subject to hate are the ones where the loudest people just kinda like it, but arent really passionate about it
