I love both games. I have played HK to 100% once, and don't really feel the desire for another run. I have played Dread through thrice: 100% hard, "speedrun" through normal, and once for basic completion on dread difficulty. Got a out the same amount of time from both games, I recommend them both as well.

If Hollow Knight had half the good level design as Dread it would be 5 hours long. It's a game carried entirely by the aesthetics, the gameplay takes forever to get good for no reason
