They were written by Soraya Saga, the actual mind behind Xenogears:

And then her cuck husband took over for every Xeno project since, which is why they are all worse

I think the same desu. Although I would have loved to see more into Kellogg story but knowing how shit they write characters in their games, I am sure they would have made him into a worse character

Rather race than singular character but still a shame.

Kellogg's motivations still baffle me. Was he just an asshole or what? It's been a while since I played but he definitely felt rather underwhelming as an antagonist. Not to mention you only see his backstory after you kill him. Though I did think there was going to be more to him after hearing his voice through Nick. But all in all it was a nothing burger.

One of the Pathfinders from Mass Effect: Andromeda. Not a significant character but I thought he was alright. I know the more obvious pick would've been Vetra Nyx.

As good as you could get in Veilguard at least. I think if he had a better writer then his nuances surrounding fixation towards necromancy could've been better realized.

>if he had a better writer
I mean you can say that about every character in Veilguard.

Fair enough. Still despite everything, I preferred him out of the rest of the cast. Which isn't saying much. Plus he seemed to have been the one character that was more or less consistent since his inception back when the project was worked on under its earlier codename, Joplin.

So where did the name Sabin come from. Don't come at me, been a while since I played 6.

I've had fantasies about Edgar and Sabin as a superboss duo (in a Dissidia type game, FF14, Stranger of Paradise, or even mainline FF). They both just go fucking nuts doing what they do, everything cranked to 11. Edgar goes crazy with his array of tools and Sabin goes crazy with his blitz abilities. Either of these use resources, so that should be emphasized in their gameplay, just spamming everything they can do nonstop.

It's "Macias", and the "c" sounds like a "thee" with a lisp, so Mash makes sense.
