not really they added polearms, crossbows and guns but all of them feel like complete ass to play
the new "combo" system is also wonky as fuck and instead of master striking everyone you just parry them
so overall it doesnt really feel any better than 1

This moment was KINO and I'm tired pretending it wasn't.
>Han's indecision clearly visible on his face >He goes for it >Henry is stunlocked >He reels back >Goes for the door >Stops at the handle, hand hovering there for what seems like minutes >Looks back at Hans >Throws all caution to the wind and gives in to passionate homo lust
I played the sequel and got a permanent "worms" debuff for accidentally starting the romance with Hans. He also started getting sick and died. Is that intended game design? Kinda anti-climatic desu

Combos felt a bit smoother and easier to pull off but combat felt exactly like the first game. Perks are similar. Yeah thats about it. Gameplay wise nothing really changed
>wow this game is pretty neat all the little systems you just gotta be real deliberate can't just like attack bandits and expect to win just like real life >*25 minutes of gameplay later* >you can now kill a full encampment of mercenaries for fun

The combat is snappier and also a lot easier. In the first one I could still make mistakes that could lose me a round in the arena or take some damage if I was messing around. In 2 you'll very quickly just become a statbeast.

In the early game enemies with plate are near unkillable because after 1or 2 hits you no longer have enough stamina to exhaust them so even if you do land a hit it does like 2 damage.

Stealing is fun. Its just not worth the effort when you are a bum, since the guards are constantly hassling you and checking you for stolen goods. Once you are the hero, you can steal all you want and nobody will bother you
