It's better than Super Metroid. SM is great but has some pretty stanky controls whereas LttP handles like a dream. The only thing that would make LttP better is if there was a quicker way to change items or like a toggle for 2 items (bow/boomerang/potion/magic rods)

I dont mind the tanky controls as much. I give it the edge because the atmosphere SM achieved with so little precedent and resources has stuck with me most.
