Because not even normies talk about it anymore.
Forget RDR2 people still talk about Celeste and Spider Man from the same year, but this one seems forgotten, despite all the praise and winning GOTY.

8/10 sure is generous for a shit sequel with worse combat, terrible monster variety, barely any bosses. I heard Ragnarok was better though but GoW did not give any good will

May have been biased by being a huge fan of the series beforehand and playing all the games that came out before, but GoW 2018 really was worse on every single possible aspect, except of the visuals/graphics obviously. But then story, gameplay, Kratos design, voice, little kid companion, pacing, bosses, enemies. Every single possible aspect is worse than any of the other 3 mainline games, and even the PSP ones. Ended up feeling absolutely nothing when I finished it and didn't even bother with the other areas once I was done.

im a chaser of Kratos going to dif mythologies, I want them to return to the old style of combat (maybe keep a smidge of the new shit) and go to egyptian mythology so we can fight giant statues and giant bird headed men and weird crocodiles

hows Rags gameplay compare? is it better? I was a die hard fan of the original 3 and spinoffs but Gow(18) was a fucking letdown and I was the fan begging for a new mythology but they copied the wrong games and lost the hack slash gameplay

Ragnarok's gameplay is much better but the story is much worse. Overall I'd give the duology a 7/10
