Some of the skill descriptions made me believe that having their values be too high could actually be detrimental, for example having too much Visual Calculus would you have autistically scan every single detail in a crime scene even if they are completely unrelated, or having too much Rhetoric would make you completely unbearable to talk to. But I never experienced anything of the sort while playing the game.

The entire Last Kingsman and Fascist Men of Wó screed is built on the foundation of the damage Dora did to him. Harry that does any other or no vision quest might get over her but Facism is doubling down on the pain regardless of whether or not he has the dream. At some point someone's going to point out he calls himself Icebreaker for a reason and he's going to doomspiral into remembering why he's so dedicated to the idea.

Wasteland of Reality is an actual, internal change in behaviour toward giving up drinking. Kim is only slightly impressed here because Harry has admitted to being an alcoholic, not because he's done anything to stop.
