Judging by the footage, they try too hard to make it realistic instead of videogamey like mario. You run kinda slow, your jump height is only a mere foot. You mess up a little bit and you ragdoll. I'm not looking for an unreal engine sim, I just want a platformer with a large moveset. I don't want long delays between animation transitions. I don't want to grab a ledge and take 3 seconds to climb up. Make it snappy. It should be half a second at most. And the level design is like a bland, real city asset drop in. This is a videogame, IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE REALISTIC.
I probably sound like a picky bitch but I hate when games try so hard to emulate real life.
